This is hands down the best food establishment in the Lake Oconee area. What's the first giveaway? So many people know about it that it is hard to get seated on the weekends. The service is exceptional. The food is 10/10. The ambience is so positive. Everyone is happy because they are enjoying all the great food and drinks. This is my go-to whenever I take my wife and family out for a special occasion or just because I want to have a great experience after a hard day.
Great food! Doesn't matter what's on the menu!! It's a great place to eat! Very unique, you place your name on a chalk board in order to get in the "Q" for your table! Great experience!
You will not be disappointed it's a great place with great service and the steaks are out of this world. Cool place been around for ever. You will not be disappointed. It's very popular so get there early no reservations walk on put your name on a chalkboard. Highly Recommended!!
The food and service here are always great! I've been in the lake area for quite a while now and I cannot recall a bad time here! Of course it gets busy and packed and there is a wait but when you have a great place like this it's expected. It's cozy and relaxing. Ophelia and Cody are amazing servers. Everyone is here really! Give it a try if you have not been. Also. If you happen to have room for dessert the strawberry shortcake is AMAZING!

The Silver Moon was the highest rated restaurant on Yelp for this area and it did not disappoint!!! We had a party of 6 and we were seated within 20 minutes on a busy Friday evening for dinner Once seated, we ordered a couple beers around the table and our waitress was absolutely fantastic with a great personality! For my main, I got the bistro steak fries and for the price this entree was amazing!!! The steak was cooked to my liking, the shoestring French fries were great AND it came with a small side of coleslaw which was also delicious. And because we could not get enough and our waitress was raving about all the homemade desserts we shared a portion of the mud pie and wow!!!!! Everything here was homemade and delicious and you could definitely taste it. Would love to try more things on the menu 10/10
I was at Lake Oconee for a wedding and my group was looking for a dinner spot on Friday night when we arrived. This spot seemed like a cute local spot so we decided to check it out! There's plenty of parking in the lot and there was a bit of a wait but not too bad (we were able to get drinks at the bar while waiting). The inside is very cozy and has murals painted and plenty of TVs. Our server was awesome, very welcoming and had great recommendations for us! I had the 44 South Burger but our table also tried the chicken tenders, fish and chips, bacon cheeseburger and steak frites. Everything was super delicious and well cooked. We also had a few beers and the house made cocktails were great. For dessert, our server recommended the Mud Pie which WOW!!! Desserts are homemade by the owner and this pie had a fantastic homemade Oreo crust, silky mocha ice cream, and whipped cream on top. I also had a Chocolate Kiss Martini and man, I love a chocolate martini and this one impressed! Overall,Silver Moon is a great spot on Lake Oconee and really brings the welcoming, homey vibes. Would visit again if I'm in the area!
